If you are a follower of ours, it is no news that we had our very first wellness pop-up event in December last year and undeniably, it was a hit. For newbies, this is a recap of “Open, a wellness and pop-up day to remember”. From networking to shopping, all in attendance were nothing short of pleased and satisfied, so much so that they requested an encore, which we have obliged to but that is gist for later.
The event tagged: Open – A wellness pop-up event was designed specifically to help entrepreneurs, the workforce, and all in between, unwind and be mindfully aware. Foteino Talento [FT] hosted over 50 guests and 8 vendors in different sectors e.g. health and nutrition, aromatherapy, and gardening. It was an experience to remember. The music, the networking, the studio, the whole space, and of course, item 7 on the menu. And the vendors… I never knew I would fall in love so quickly with the products the way I did. Every product had its unique quality and essence.
Meet the vendors at our wellness & pop-up event
Mosun – [@blooming_with_mo]
Never underestimate what a plant can do for you and your space. It brings about a certain warmth, freshness, and serenity to you and your surroundings, plus, it helps to foster care and better living. A much-needed element for our wellness and pop-up event. It just set the tone for everything.
Ms. Mosun, who is from a lineage of Plant People, is a Chartered Accountant and Visual Artist by profession and now, has found her way back to her roots – Planting. She sells plants, painted ceramics, and bottles. To know more about her brand, watch FT Interview with Mo.

I remember you. Yes, you read right. That’s the name of one of her scents [one of my personal favourites – which by the way, sold out quickly] and the best way to describe Claire Marcus. After visiting her stand, you would be unable to forget her. She graced her table with various heady and unique scents, each telling its own stories. Some of which are
- I Remember You,
- Gidi Nights [another fav!],
- Man of Souk,
- Sugar Baby

My goodness. My love for these candles is immense. Like Kilode? Lol. All hyping aside, the scents for each candle are unique and quite intoxicating. For one who is self-taught, his candles are worth every penny. To know more about this brand, watch FT Interview With Fitilacandles.
Coco -[@heartsbydesign]
I have always been one to practice “pen to paper’’ regularly as I find it quite therapeutic, so you can only imagine how this brand quickly resonated with me. Ms. Coco is a Communications and Media Consultant who has taken up journaling and situated herself very well as a stationary and wellness brand. Journaling can be a very good outlet to let out emotions and help you refocus on things that matter. To know more about this brand, watch FT Interview with HeartsByDesign
Rashidat -[@gaiafarmstea]
Health is wealth and I cannot sound this enough. Besides, there is no way we would have a wellness and pop-up event without having a vendor within this space. Ms. Rashidat is a licensed and trained pharmacist that makes use of traditional herbs and turns them into teas. She had on display a variety of teas that addresses different health issues for different age ranges. Side note, try out her ‘No Stress Tea’. You can thank me later. Bukola – [@room.bukola]
Now, this one took me by surprise in so many ways. Firstly, I did not expect to like more than one candle brand. Secondly, the smell just beckons you; the best way to describe it is calming. Thirdly, I got the candle for myself, but it ended up with someone else. That just goes to show you how good it is. Bukola is a People and Culture Specialist who creates & curates holistic materials, items & moments that help people get more acclimated with growth and spirituality. Ugochukwu – [@greenlysandco]
She had me at Beetroot. I can literally add beetroot to any smoothie I make. That is how much I love it. So, imagine how excited I was to know that it comes in the form of tea. This tea is so relaxing and before I knew it, sleep came calling. Greenly is a Holistic wellness brand, crafting juice cleanses, and teas and encouraging a plant-based lifestyle.
